After the 2006 Aboriginal Policy Research Conference, we decided to found the Aboriginal Policy Research Consortium International (APRCi) in order to create a hub for connecting professionals and communities working on Indigenous issues around the world. We felt there was much to be learned by sharing our work across international boundaries.
The purpose of the Aboriginal Policy Research Consortium International is to provide leadership and oversight on projects related to research and policy for, by, and about Indigenous peoples worldwide. At its founding, we set out our goals as an organization. Less than a decade later, we have four core projects that meet those goals.
